About Us

We’re Kiersten and Akira Muramoto, the creators of Lacie’s Charms. Remembering and honoring the people we love is deeply important to us—not just on special days, but every day. The people who shape us leave a lasting impact, and we carry pieces of them with us throughout our lives.

We believe in angels in every way. We know they watch over us, help us, and stay with us beyond this life. We believe that families are forever, and that love and connection extend beyond time. That’s why we created Lacie’s Charms—a small but meaningful way to keep our loved ones close in life’s most cherished moments.

Akira’s mom, Lacie, passed away in 2011 when he was just a little boy. Grief is an ever-changing journey, and watching Akira miss his sweet mom in different phases of life has been both heartbreaking and beautiful. When we got married in 2023, it felt like something was missing without her there.

I never had the chance to meet Lacie, but looking through photos, hearing stories, and realizing how much I would have loved her was one of the most special parts of our wedding preparations. Creating a charm in her honor—something we could physically hold and carry with us—made all the difference. We knew in our hearts she was there in spirit, but having that keepsake with us made her presence even more tangible.

Alongside Lacie’s charm, I carried ones for my grandma Jody, my grandpa Dean, and Akira’s grandpa Moto. Knowing we could honor them in such a simple yet powerful way meant everything to us. That experience is what led us to start Lacie’s Charms.

Losing someone we love is heartbreaking and often devastating, but finding even the smallest way to bring comfort and remembrance can be so healing.

We're so glad you’re here, and I hope we can help you do the same for your loved ones.

Xx Kiersten & Akira
