Locket Care Guide

Keeping your heirloom piece beautiful for years to come.

Everyday Care

Avoid water.

Do not submerge your locket in water. Remove it before showering, swimming, or other water activities. Water and moisture can affect both the metal and the photo inside.

Remove before workouts.

Sweat and frequent friction can speed up tarnishing. We recommend taking your locket off before exercising or high-activity days.

Keep away from perfumes & lotions.

Apply perfumes, hairspray, and lotions before putting your locket on. Chemicals can react with the metal and dull its shine.

Store it safely.

When not wearing your locket, keep it in a dry place — ideally in a jewelry pouch or box away from humidity and direct sunlight.

If Tarnishing Happens.

Over time, natural oils from your skin and exposure to air may cause slight tarnishing — this is completely normal with plated jewelry.

Every order includes a tarnish-removal cloth. Simply gently polish your locket to restore its shine. Avoid using liquid jewelry cleaners, as they can damage the finish and the photo inside.
